Day 3 in Ireland

Today started with free time for the group which everyone did their own thing.  The girls and AJ went shopping at several stores.  Most fell in love with the store Pennys but stopped at other places throughout the morning.  Todd went on what seemed to be the longest trip to the gym ever.  He apparently got a little lost but 3 hours later found his way back to Maple Hotel.

The day then started with an Irish Dancing lesson in Temple Bar.  Most of the group was a bit apprehensive about learning to Irish dance especially after seeing our dancer Lorna perform.  We learned 2 different dances and learned a few Irish songs from Mr O'Sullivan.  There was a group of 8 women from England on a bachelorette party joining in the lesson too which were pretty entertaining. After the first dance, we found out who had rhythm and who did not.  After lots of laughs and some dancing, we finished the lesson off with some free dancing and a picture with O'Sullivan and Lorna.

After a half hour break at the hotel, we headed out for a rugby match. Leinster played Benetton Treviso at RDS field. Leinster won 10-0, close match.  Luckily our seats were under shelter as it continued to rain like it had the entire day. There were lots of stoppage plays for injuries which caught our attention.  By the end of the match everyone was both cold and hungry.

After taking a bus back to O'Connell street, we went to grab a bite to eat.  Everyone was already really hungry so we stopped at Flannagans which was the closest open restaurant to us.  We quickly found out that they were not the fastest at service or remembering things we asked for.  Two hours later, we headed back to the hotel to end the night.
